Takeuchi Seiho
Takeuchi Seiho (1864-1942) was a Japanese-style painter from Kyoto, who learnt from Kono Bairei. He is considered as one of the four best pupils of Bairei. Taking over the tradition of Kyoto painting world, he handled wide range of subjects from classics to modern ones. Also, he instructed a lot of remarkable painters such as Uemura Shoen, Nishiyama Shuisho and Tsuchida Bakusen.
