Uemura Shoko (1902-2001) was a Japanese-style painter who was the first son of Uemura Shoen as well as the father of Uemura Atsushi. He learned from Nishimura Goun, Nishiyama Suisho and others. Also, he was the awardee of the Order of Culture.
