明治17(1884)富山~昭和22(1947) 日本画家。琳派の画家山本光一に師事したのち、竹内栖鳳に入門。インドへの取材旅行を通じて、装飾的な画風を獲得し、文展、帝展で入選を重ねる。昭和8年に高野山金剛峯寺の依頼を受けて、貴賓室の襖絵制作に取り組む。京都市立絵画専門学校(現:京都市立芸術大学)教授。
