忠田 愛

CHUDA Ai

Ai Chuda was born in Osaka in 1981. After leaving Doshisha University’s Faculty of Letters, Department of Cultural Studies, Aesthetics and Art Studies in 2000, she completed a master’s degree in Art Expression at Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2007. He received the Chaos Prize and the Dean’s Prize at the graduation exhibition, and the Shinsei Prize at the 11th Open Call Shinsei Exhibition in the same year. He has since received numerous awards, including the Excellence Prize at the Kyoto Japanese Painting New Exhibition in 2010 and the Heiwado Foundation New Artist Encouragement Prize in 2012.
