Tanikado Hisaharu (1893-1971) was a Japanese-style-painter from Hyogo. After his courtesan paintings gathered people’s attention, he converted to the neoclassical style and exposed his works at Inten and Bunten. In his later years, he devoted himself to Buddha paintings.
