Born in Ishikawa Prefecture in 1992. Completed the MA course in nihonga, department of painting, at Kanazawa College of Art. Holding to the techniques and the expression of traditional Japanese painting, she draws figures of a contemporary cast, full of transparency. Collectors have responded to her soft, many-layered colour and to the composed expressions of her women. Her work has drawn wide attention, including the cover artwork for Takashi Matsumoto's tribute album "Kazemachi ni Tsuretette!".
