Ukiyo-e artist. Among his art names are Ichimosai, Kinchoro and Mosai. A pupil of Kuniyoshi, he excelled in the warrior pictures at which his teacher was strong, and made fine large-head actor prints as well. He was also active in pictures of beautiful women, Yokohama prints and prints of the new civilisation.
