Takehisa Yumeji
Takehisa Yumeji was a Japanese-style-painter and poet from Okayama, who provided newspapers and magazines with his illustration. His lyrical Beauty was very popular from the late Meiji to early Taisho era. He also left lots of oil paintings.
Arishima Ikuma
明治15(1882)神奈川~昭和49(1974)神奈川 洋画家、小説家。東京外国語学校(現:東京外語大学)卒業後、藤島武二に師事し、洋画を学ぶ。渡欧してセザンヌに感銘を受け、『白樺』で日本に紹介する。その後、二科会創立や日展で活躍。兄は有島武郎で弟に里見弴がおり、自身も文才に優れた。文化功労者。
