6月1日（土）三嶋哲也先生のライブペインティングを行います。（予約可・有料）
全三部制で、【講座1】及び【講座2】は女性、【講座3】は果実を予定。三嶋先生の解説付き。

現代のほとんどの写実作家は写真を使用して制作しています。
しかしながら、古典油彩画を理想とし技術を追求している三嶋哲也は一切写真を使用せず、現場主義を貫く稀な作家です。
今回はモチーフを実際に観て描いているところを見ることができる貴重なイベントです。
また、文献や技法書には載っていない、三嶋哲也が独自に発見した非公開の油彩技術を特別にお見せいたします。

■スケジュール

Date: Saturday 1 June 2019 (now finished)

Class 1, 13:00 – 14:00: “Painting an Almost-Nude Model, A” — from a simple underdrawing to the first layer. 10 minutes of explanation, then 50 minutes of live painting including a break.

Class 2, 15:30 – 16:30: “Painting an Almost-Nude Model, B” — the second layer (a different painting from Class 1). 10 minutes of explanation, then live painting including a break.

■参加費用

Fee: 5,000 yen per class, payable to gallery staff on the day.

Anyone who orders “Tetsuya Mishima: Oil Paintings 1994–2019” (10,800 yen incl. tax) when booking may attend one class free of charge on collecting the book. (Whether the special edition with a giclée is available depends on stock at the venue.)

■注意事項

Photography and filming are not permitted.

Please arrive at least ten minutes before the start and speak to a member of staff. Those who arrive after the start time will be treated as cancellations.

Places are given in the order bookings are received: ten per class, thirty in all. Booked places come first, but if there is room on the day, or if there is a cancellation, you may join.

■ 展覧会情報

“Tetsuya Mishima: Oil Paintings — Henai” opens Friday 31 May. Admission free.

We show the whole of Mishima’s world as it is, which a department store cannot. 125 signed copies of the book are sold at the gallery, with a special edition including a giclée. Do come.
