Born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1969, where he lives and works. Calligrapher and artist.
After working from 1990 on the catalogue raisonné of Yuichi Inoue, he held his first solo exhibition, "Machine", at Unac Salon in 2015. A collection of his work, "Fune", was published by YKG Publishing in 2016, and a second, "Ugoku Ki", by ART DIVER in 2024. In the same year he showed at Kiaf SEOUL with Yumiko Chiba Associates, and he continues to work energetically.
Principal exhibitions include "Hitori Kai Geijutsu" (Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, 2010), "flying saucer" (Yumiko Chiba Associates viewing room shinjuku, 2016), "Speech balloon" (Gallery NOW, 2017), "Triple Tower" (TMMT, 2018), "Game" (Fukuya Hatchobori, art gallery, 2022), "Naming The World" (Yumiko Chiba Associates, 2024) and "Issei Kitagawa, Hisashi Yamamoto, Kimihiko Hino: Letters and Blank Space [provisional title]" (Yumiko Chiba Associates, 2025).
His work is held in collections including the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts.
