Utagawa Hiroshige, “Shinagawa-juku: Sunrise”, from The Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido

I bought Utagawa Hiroshige’s “Shinagawa-juku: Sunrise” from The Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido, had it framed and hung it in the entrance hall. Every time I go in or out I look at it, and it pleases me.

I enjoy the catalogue too, and go back to it again and again.

We are very glad to hear that you are enjoying the work. Hearing that a customer is pleased is the happiest moment in a gallery’s work.

We make the catalogue to be read as well as looked at: the column “the point to notice” carries the stories behind the works. We will go on providing information we hope you find useful, and we hope you will keep reading.
