In April 2020, at the Hankyu Umeda main store, some seventy works were brought together: the masters of modern Japanese painting, and eight artists of our own day in whose hands the painting of beautiful women has caught fire again half a century later.

The solo exhibition of Chen Pei-yi, the Taiwanese painter of cats, which opened on 22 February 2020 — Cat Day in Japan.
She was unable to travel to Japan during the exhibition because of the spread of Covid-19, so we are showing an interview filmed in Taiwan instead.

“Tetsuya Mishima: Oil Paintings — Henai” ran from 31 May to 9 June 2019, with live painting and other events alongside the show.
In this film Mishima explains his particular attachment to the backside.
