For work from the Meiji period onward by artists who have a recognised authenticator, we guarantee that the piece is genuine.

For artists with no recognised authenticator, and for artists working before the end of the Edo period, we sell on our own judgement. Every work is checked by the head of the company. We show these pieces with confidence, as work that has passed an eye trained on painting and calligraphy through the generations of our family. If anything is unclear, please ask us.
