Hashimoto Kansetsu
Hashimoto Kansetsu (1883-1945) was a Japanese-style painter from Kobe, a pupil of Kataoka Koko and Takeuchi Seiho. He created his original painting world taking in the elements of Rimpa School and Chinese-style painting have, on a basis of realism of Shijo School.
Matsubayashi Keigetsu
Matsubayashi Keigetsu (1876-1963) was a Japanese-style-painter from Tokyo, who learnt Nanga from Noguchi Yukoku. He left lots of excellent graphic paintings such as a cherry tree in the dim moon light depicted using a single black ink.
