Katsushika Hokusai
Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) was an Ukiyoe painter, who learnt at Kano School and Tosa School, and even had an interest in European copperplate prints. Apart from prints, he also produced excellent original drawings, that gave an impact on Impressionists.
